snowflake baked French toast
Total preparation time: 15minutes
Serves: 4Steps:
- In a 9x13 inch pan melt one cube (one half cup) butter in microwave for 1 minute. Add one half cup maple syrup. Stir to mix.
- Place 8 slices of soft crusted French bread in the pan on top of the butter/syrup mixture.
- In a small bowl beat together one half cup half and half and 3 large eggs. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the slices of French toast. Cover and refrigerate over night.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle powdered sugar to form a snow flake pattern. Serve with warm maple syrup of chokecherry syrup.
