The Absolute Best Quiche Lorraine
Serves: 6Ingredients:
- 1 Frozen 9" Pie Crust (do not thaw)
- 10 slices Crisp Cooked Bacon cooled and crumbled
- 1 cup Shredded Swiss Cheese
- 1/3 cup Minced Onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups Whipping Cream
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Steps:
- Heat oven to 425 degrees
- Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie shell.
- Beat eggs slightly in bowl, and beat in the remaining ingredients.
- Pour cream mixture into pan over the bacon, cheese and onion. Bake 15 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 300 degrees after 15 minutes and bake an additional 30 minutes or until done in center. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
