Everything Cookies
Total preparation time: 30 minutesIngredients:
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons Vanilla
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
- 1 cup Quaker Quick Oatmeal
- 1 cup Shredded Sweet Coconut Flakes
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- 3 cups Unsifted Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 cup Rice Krispies
- 12 oz Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (pecans), optional
Steps:
- Mix in order given.
- Mix Rice Krispies in by hand.
- Drop by large teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets
- Bake in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Makes about 100 cookies. Good for freezing.
