This lovely private Big Island bed and breakfast, just four miles from the Hawaii's most beautiful white-sand beaches, continues to be one of the most sought-after locations. The consistently sunny skies, magnificent ocean views, and expansive pool/jacuzzi deck, coupled with fine Hawaiian hospitality, have inspired one guest to comment: "It was like having a luxury resort all to ourselves." The bed and breakfast wing with queen-size bed opens directly to the swimming pool. From December to March, whale watching is great at this 500 ft. elevation.

Turn left toward KAWAIHAE and continue for 1.5 miles. Turn right at Kohala by the Sea Realty, follow sign to MAHUKONA continue for 3.2 miles to the entry gate at KOHALA RANCH (look for flagpole). This is an exclusive gated community. After leaving the gate, continue straight ahead and turn right at the 3rd roadway PUPU PLACE, this street is exactly .3 miles from the gate Turn left at the sign "MAKANA MAI KE AKUA".
