The Rock House is proud to offer private cooking classes for you and your friends presented by a Professional Chef. Just get a group of friends, wine club members or foodies together for a fun (and delicious) private class. We will do our best to accommodate you on the desired dates and days of the week. We currently offer the following options:
(1) A three (3) hour class for up to 6 people on Monday thru Thursday afternoon/evening for a total cost of $800 (which includes the cost of food and wine) - The more people attending; the less it costs each person. Because we have scheduled Bed and Breakfast guests most Fridays & Saturdays - weekend classes have to be structured a little differently, but can be arranged at certain times;
(2) We can also offer Private or Personal Chef Lessons in conjunction with Bed & Breakfast stays – pricing will vary depending on number of participants and class contents & entrees. Want just a personal gourmet meal for two without the lesson? We can do that too – just call and we can custom tailor a lesson or dinner for you!
We will share with you recipes, garnishes, culinary secrets, specialty food sources that private (non- commercial) cooks/chefs can use and also instruct you on food and wine pairings. Wine is served (or Non-Alcoholic Beverages available, if preferred) during the instruction. The class culminates in a gourmet dinner or late lunch for you and your friends/spouses.
