Polkerris sports a traditional Jamaican design with wide verandahs and a unique glass enclosed living room while Vista de la Bahia has a Spanish ambiance with archways framing a magnificent view of the mountain ranges sliding into the Caribbean Sea.     Jamaica is one of the few places in the world that uses the unique and fascinating ackee, a fruit resembling an apple but with large black shiny seeds on the outside and when cooked looking exactly like scrambled eggs. Combined with salted codfish sauteed with onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes and thyme plus a dash of black pepper produces our deliciously intriguing National Dish.
