General Information

The Midtown Carriage House is located in Midtown, close to downtown and Buckhead, within walking distance of the fabulous Fox Theatre, Piedmont Park, Georgia Tech, Peachtree Street and other Atlanta favorites. There are a multitude of neighborhood restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisine and interesting shops and boutiques just a few feet away; no need for a car. The Marta (subway) station is only a short 4 block walk away. Should you decide to drive, free parking is always available.

  From Interstate 75 (North, just north of downtown Atlanta): Take exit #249D (Spring St). Stay on the access road for one block past Spring St., then turn left on W. Peachtree, then right onto North Ave. Go about 6 blocks; about 2 blocks after the Publix (supermarket) and Walgreens, turn left on Penn Avenue. Go about 3 blocks north to 5th Street, turn left. The guest house is on the left (770-B). From the Marta (or Subway which is located inside Hartsfield Airport; $1.75 per person each way): Get off at the Midtown Station (N4). Exit to Tenth Street. Turn right on Tenth Street. If you have luggage, there is a taxi stand just outside the station. Otherwise, go about 4 blocks; just after the main intersection at Tenth and Piedmont, turn right onto Myrtle Street. Walk about 4 blocks to 5th Street, turn left on 5th Street. Go about a half block; the guest house is on the right (770-B).
