General InformationNestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Rising Fawn, Georgia and the General Woods Inn are the perfect place for your next weekend getaway. This antebellum style mansion has all the modern amenities such as wireless internet, in room color television/VCR/DVD, refrigerator, walk in closets, and plush bedding. However, despite being located only twenty minutes from downtown Chattanooga, the General Woods Inn has an ambience of the slow style of a bygone era.

Bob Woods is a career military officer who remains on active duty today. As a Brigadier General, he spends the majority of his time working for our country in command of the largest air and missile defense command in the world at Fort Bliss, Texas. Nadine and Bob have made their permanent residence in Rising Fawn, Georgia, Nadine's hometown.
