Devagiri Retreat is a 40-year-old Coffee Estate and farm run by Hodachalli family. The integrated Homestay within the Coffee Estate offers a peaceful place for holidaying, trekking, partying, and camping.

We are an easy-going and welcoming Indian family and have lived on the property for 40 years.

Our houses are located within the estate and you are absolutely free to define your activities.

We offer good food, travel assistance, pick-up and drop-off services, assistance for trekking & camping.

Tariff is Indian Rupees 1500.00 per person per night. Rates include accommodation, breakfast, and evening tea with snacks. Distance from Bangalore is 240 Kilometres. Bangalore is the capital city of the southern-Indian state of Karnataka.

  Akki Roti meaning rice bread is prepared in a typical Malnad planter-style. Akki roti and curry is a great combination.
  
  We offer a wide array of curries, all customised to suit your taste-buds.
  
  Curries are prepared in a typical Indian style with a good choice of spices, herbs and a mix of vegetables or meat as per your prefernce.

Devagiri Retreat is on your left-hand side when driving from Bangalore. From Mangalore City: Mangalore is the closest Airport (70 KM's). Drive towards National Higway 48. Continue the journey in NH48 and you will cross the towns of BC-Road, Uppinangady, Nellyady, Udane. You will have to take the right diversion to Devagiri Retreat in the village of Heggadde.

  We are a friendly and easygoing Indian family. We are primarily small-time Coffee Planters. We love travelling as well as welcoming travellers in our home. Offering bed and breakfast in our home is as much an important hobby for us as it is a business. We love meeting wonderful people.
