Kismet Inn located in the idyllic historical town of Bath, Maine across from the fountain of ''The Spirit of the Sea'' where you will discover a small destination spot of extraordinary beauty.     Our breakfast and dinner dishes are exquisite to Kismet Inn. We do not serve pancake, French Toas or muffins for breakfast. Our breakfast is generally unique kind of omelet made with wild local mushrooms or local produce. We use fresh ginger, garlic and spices in our dishes - only a little bit just to give it a different taste.

  • Cancellations:
    When a guest makes a reservation for a stay at Kismet Inn, a credit card number is taken. Only a credit card number is retained, in lieu of an actual credit card transaction. We request that if a reservation must be cancelled, that it is done so at least two weeks prior to the arrival date. No charge is made for such cancelled reservations. However, if a guest cancels a reservation less than two weeks prior to the arrival date, and we are unable to re-sell the cancelled room, we will charge the guest's credit card for the required deposit of one night's accommodation inclusive of room tax. A cancellation number is given upon the cancellation of a room. This number must be duly noted, as without one, a creit card will be charged for the required deposit. When guests reserve for a three day holiday weekend, a credit card number is taken. Only a credit card number is taken in lieu of an actual credit card transaction. Should guests cancel the reservation, less than two week prior to the arrival date, and we are unable to re-sell the room, the guest will be charged for the three nights accommodation inclusive of room tax. For early departures guests are responsible for the remaining nights accommodation and tax.
