Montgomery Inn Cinnamon-Pecan Granola

- 6 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 2 tablespoons Cinnamon
- 1 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Pecan Pieces
- 1 melted Butter
Steps:
- Combine all ingredients except melted butter in a large bowl, stirring to distribute evenly.
- Drizzle melted butter over dry ingredients to coat.
- Spread granola mixture over a large jelly-roll type pan and toast, stirring occasionally in a 325 degree oven, until desired brownness, approximately 25-40 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool before storing in an air-tight container. Mixture will crisp up as it cools.
- Enjoy as a snack mix, breakfast cereal, or as a topping for yogurt, icecream and cobbler. Try your own variation--add other nuts, dried cranberries, raisins, add a dash of almond extract or vanilla before baking. chocolate chips, m&m's, etc can be added to cooled mixture as a trail mix.
