General InformationThis 1902 Federal Style Historic District house boasts original artwork and antiques, but with an easy coastal style. With whole house central air, ceiling fans and lots of extra pillows you will always be comfortable. The house still retains 6 of the original mantles with original tiles and heart of pine floors. The sweeping veranda has a swing and rockers all around, or kick back on the back porch wicker chairs. Relax in one of our four comfortable guest rooms, two with Queen beds, and two with King, each with private bath,Wireless Internet, Cable TV's and well lit seating areas and chocolates on the nightstand! Our deluxe "Pamlico River Room" offers a King bed, master bath with tub/shower, robes and a view to the garden. Delicious full breakfasts and freshly ground coffee, our own Moss House Blend roasted just for us, will highlight your morning before you set off on your adventures. Sauteed Granny Smith apples, sage, and fennel seeds help make our tasty, moist sausage that is always a hit, especially with our special Fluffy Eggs and Sweet Potato Hash or our Spiced Oatmeal Pancakes with fresh fruit and syrup.

- Deposit amount required (A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking or a credit card is required to guarantee the reservation.)

- Cancellations:
Should it be necessary to cancel any part of the reservation with less than 72 hours notice, the deposit is forfeited or we reserve the right to charge 50% of your total reservation.
If the whole house has been booked, i.e. a group books all four rooms, a 14-day cancellation notice is required.

On the left you will see our sign, which reads, "The Moss House Parking." We both sail and we enjoy traveling, when we get a chance. Scott is a fabulous wood worker and handy man, very helpful. Rebecca loves to sing, she used to sing opera and cook. Occasionly she gets a chance to make jewelry or paint. - The innkeepers speak: English
