My husband and I spent 4 nights here as part of our 35th wedding anniversary getaway. We could'nt have been more pleased. Our refrigerator was stocked with fruit, yogurt and bagels, sourdough bread, muffin, juice, coffee and all touches to make our stay comfortable. Clean, vineyard decorating and comfortable king sized bed. Loved the low key, free vineyard tastings in the area. Then to Napa & Sonoma. Really wished we had'nt left the cottage! Nancy really goes out of her way to make your experience so memorable.

Nancy Kam is a thoughtful and gracious hostess. No detail was overlooked in providing for our comfort and pleasure. We stayed at The Cottage March 12-14, Friday and Saturday nights, as we were planning to visit the many wineries in and near Fair Play in El Dorado County. I found The Cottage on line, and fortunately, those dates were open. The Cottage is very quiet, there is a lovely garden (just coming into bloom while we were there). The kitchen is very well equipped, if you want to do some serious cooking. Nancy recommended some nearby restaurants (we went to the Gold Vine on Friday night), and some wineries for us to visit. The Cottage has a binder with all sorts of information about things to do and see, places to eat, etc. and the binder was a huge help as we began our winery tours. As we are retired, we can also take advantage of Nancy's midweek specials, which we intend to do in the near future. This little cottage is an ideal getaway, very romantic setting for a couple. Nancy will negotiate with you if you want to bring a pet (we didn't) and we think you will find her very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend Nancy and the Cottage. We stayed for 6 nights and totally relaxed. There is a beautiful private yard bordering the lovely horse pasture (complete with a magnificent stallion galloping about)rolling hills, heavily lined with oak and pine. Really nicely stocked with all the needed breakfast goodies, biscotti and chocolates and cookies too! walk along the wineries, just perfect for a wine country outing... Very reasonable considering amentities.
