  Home-made buckwheat and brown rice flour waffles are Firesign's most popular breakfast, served with lots of fruit, a choice of whipped cream or low-fat vanilla yogurt, really good sausages, warmed real maple syrup and melted butter. Of course, whole wheat waffles are available on request!

• Cancellations:
  Firesign Studio and B&B is a small, unique home business with a limited number of rooms, operating in a highly seasonal region. Therefore we ask you to honor our cancellation policy to protect us and our guests. Firesign Studio and B&B can not be responsible for unforeseen circumstances. • You may cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation without charge.• All other cancellations are subject to a $25 administration charge per room. • For stays of 1-3 days, if less than 7 days cancellation notice is given, one night will be charged. For stays of more than 3 days, 50% of the total will be charged.• All B&B cancellations within 3 days or 7 days for the Blackberry Suite, of your anticipated arrival will be charged the balance of the full amount of your stay unless we are able to re-rent the room or cabin, less a processing fee. Workshop Cancellation Policy: Because artists are booked ahead and we have such small class sizes, a $250 non-refundable deposit for 5-day workshops or a $100 deposit for 2-day workshops, will be taken upon registration. The balance will be payable upon arrival. 2009 Mexico Retreat: 50% non-refundable deposit due at registration, 50% due by December 15, 2008. A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. • Innkeeper(s): Nanci Cook & Tracy Tomlinson
  Nanci and Tracy are both creative artists in most of what they do. Nanci was a potter and now paints with acrylics and watercolours and invites other artists to teach and learn at 2- and 5-day workshops in her studio. She also displays her paintings in the studio as well as the B&B and cottage. Tracy made a beautiful mosaic entry to the B&B, also a skilled mechanic, at the moment having fun with remote control planes and helicopters.
