General Information

A charming country manor house built in the mid-1800's, the Inn at Monticello sits nestled in the valley at the base of Thomas Jefferson's own Monticello Mountain. The Inn is situated on five beautifully landscaped acres, close to Charlottesville's historic downtown, but retains the feeling of the peaceful countryside. Guests can rest on the shaded front porch and watch the birds and deer frolic on the manicured lawn, or stroll along the brook that passes through the property. Many guests gather in the afternoon for a glass of Virginia wine before heading out to dine at one of many fine Charlottesville area restaurants.

  • Cancellations:
    If room is cancelled 10 or more days prior to check-in, a $20 rebooking fee is charged to the credit card on file, the remaining deposit will be refunded. Within 10 days of booking, every effort will be made to rebook the room. If the room is not rebooked, the room deposit will not be refunded.

When road changes from four to two lanes prepare for righthand turn at Inn at Monticello sign...look for the American Flag. From Washington DC, I66 to Rt.29, 29 to I64, I64 to Rt.20.
