We wanted to take a last-minute get-away to the Oregon coast and found this property on bnb.com. It was a bit more than we wanted to spend but we were also not wanting to take a lot more time looking for something cheaper - but still close to the ocean. The on-line reservation system was easy to use and I got an email confirmation within a couple of hours - this was great since I made the reservation on Friday for a Saturday Night stay. If I had been smarter I would have stayed both Friday and Saturday nights - they had a special running where the second night was half price. When we arrived and had a chance to look out the window, any worries or concerns we had vanished into thin air. The views are breathtaking and cause you to lose track of time while you gaze at the beautiful beach and rolling waves. After getting a guided tour and basic instructions. We stowed our luggage and made our way for a stroll on the beach - the beach was very clean - a vast expanse of sand and a few people like us, enjoying the afternoon. The house was super clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Chinook room and could not be more comfortable. Our room and bathroom each had it's own temperature control. We like it cool so we never turned on the gas fireplace but can imagine that it would be fantastic during the winter months. The Innkeepers, Dee and Doug are very friendly and easy to talk to. They made sure that we had everything we needed. It was clear that they make it their mission to be ready to help with whatever you need to make your visit special. We asked about restaurants and Dee helped us to find just what we were looking for. Do not be shy about making your dietary needs known, if you let Dee know, she will take wonderful care of you. We had a spendid visit and highly recommend the Tyee Lodge - you will not be disappointed!

    Beautiful views and fabulous accommodations!

The ocean view from our bed sitting room and the garden seating was breathtaking. We were sorry not to stay longer! Romantic setting, great room (fireplace, plasma tv, ocean view, comfortable bed) while downstairs were the hot drink bar and cold drinks in fridge (gratis, self-serve) provided - then a delish gourmet breakfast! Amazing and wonderful. The yards and gardens were enticing, especially to sit overlooking the ocean and beach. The next door B & B is theirs also and looked as wonderful! Recommended unreservedly!! Our room had fireplace and we enjoyed it. Design of the room was very simple. Room was also very small. Views are great, house is located right on the beach and you can walk down to the water in 2 minutes. It is a great location, very romantic. Breakfast was good. We had it in the B&B next door ( they are under the same management). Place is missing a home feeling a little bit. But other all, great service and amazing location.

    Great oceanside B&B!

I had a great overnight stay at Tyee Lodge. I booked my room last-minute, but that didn't bother the innkeeper, Charmaine, in the least. She also accepted my bedandbreakfast.com gift card without any complications. The ocean views from the living room and yard were spectacular, though the room I booked (Neskowin) didn't have a view of the water. No matter--the beach was a two-minute jaunt down the hill. Overall, a lovely experience!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tyee. I planned it at the end of our vacation so we could relax and enjoy the setting. The room we had (yaquina) had a beautiful view. We sat on the bed and watched the sun set over the water, listened to the surf all night and then woke to the sound of churping birds. The service and attention to detail was outstanding. We highly recommend this place.
