Insel Haus, a private, secluded Bed & Breakfast on Bois Blanc Island in Michigan's Straits of Mackinac. An Old World retreat filled with antique leaded glass, chandeliers, Persian rugs and cushions, French doors, fieldstone and tiled fireplaces. Insel Haus beckons if you seek tranquility, solitude, walks through forest island paths. Let the season dictate your mode of transportation: cross-country skis, snowshoes or bicycle. When flying from the Cheboygan airport exit the I-75 Expressway at marker #326, travel to the city of Cheboygan. The Cheboygan Airport will be on your left. Advise us of your scheduled arrival time, by ferry or plane, and we will pick you up at the island dock or airport.
