This 19th century house was completely restored in 2001 and transformed into a charming bed & breakfast. Le Clos du Rempart is located right in the heart of Avignon old town, few minutes walking from the Popes' Palace and the famous Pont d'Avignon.
Around its pretty patio, 2 comfortable guest rooms with A/C and private bath, each in a particular style. A flat/self catering apartment is also available for vacation rental in Provence
Nothing would lead you to believe that behind its imposing walls hides a secret patio, planted with Provencal plants and whose friezes remind you of Andalusia or the Middle East...

      Direction "Centre Ville" along the banks of the Rhone. Follow signs for "Palais des Papes, Pont Saint Benezet", enter the city by the "Porte de la Ligne" at the 2nd traffic light to the left "direction Ancien Grenier à Sel". After foloowing the street "Rue Saint-Joseph" you turn left, follow the "Rempart Saint-Lazare" part of the city walls until the 2nd street on the right "Rue Crémade".
