Welcome to the B & B la Casa del Tio, located in the heart of the colonial Guanajuato city...

La Casa is a few steps from the Mariachi Jorge Negrete's monument, the Pipila, the Juarez Theather and the Garden.

Our location is perfect!

We are in 47 Cantarranas Street, in the middle of the art, the fun and culture characteristics of Guanajuato.

La Casa del Tio is located in the only art deco building in Guanajuato. Inside is decorated with Mexican taste and international standarts. Our friendliness, cleanleness and comfort is in highly regards by our travelers from South America, the United States, Canada or Europe.

  Above rates are for low season. Expect different rates on high season on July and August or special festivities such as the Cervantino Festival in October or Eastern week and so forth.

  The garden and the Juarez Theatre are the hearth of the historic center in Guanajuato..... and la Casa del Tío is nearby to those places! In the back of the garden is the narrow and one way Cantarranas street and of course...our B & B ! Walking by the Jardin, in the back, just turn to your right on Cantarranas St. and 200 meters away -also in the right side- is La Casa del Tío. Cantarranas is a one way street. When you enter in this street in the up side in direction to the Jardín, you will find in the right side the monument to the mariachi Jorge Negrete and few meters after, in the left side, la Casa del Tio. Close to the B & B there is a big public parking, which is a great solution for the parking necesities in the historic center . Nearby is also the Guanajuato University and the Principal theather. From the bus terminal you can take a taxi for 3 dolars and a 10 minutes trip or use the public transport for 30 cents of dolar.

• Directions from airport:
  If you are traveling from the Leon airport, BJX, the best way is to take a taxi to Guanajuato. The fare is aproximately 30 dolars and about 30 minutes to our lodging.
