    Le Logge di Sopra is a family run B&B located in the countryside, in the heart of the “Crete senesi”, on the panoramic “Lauretana”. It stands in a strategic position for a quick tour or a pleasant week full of significant highlights offered by nature, history, culture, gastronomy and oenology. It is a former farmhouse dating back to the 16th century, skilfully refurbished respecting the original architectural lines and antique traditions. The transformation of the large, striking wine vault into 3 snug rooms and 2 apartments, thermally comfortable at all times, has created a cosy structure that offers peace and privacy to guests. Guests can relax in the a beautiful solarium, where they can enjoy a vast, breathtaking view, or in the meticulously manicured garden with swimming pool. There is also a free private car park with automatic gate.

    We stayed four nights and were generally happy with our stay. It was a very nice place and we enjoyed the pool a lot (you are required to wear a swim cap). On the disappointing side however, breakfast was not included and we had a bit trouble communicating in english. Also, by mail I was informed they could provide wine tours and bicycle rentals, which in reality turned out to be just a folder with phone numbers and information of places we could contact that arranged such. Since we had to drive to get around we ended up not going to any wine tours. It is a nice place to stay if you want to relax. The cat was very cute and cuddly, and the nearest town was a charming place! The information folder we received contained information about the area, restaurants, thermal baths, wine tasting and more.

    We stayed here in Sept., 2007. It is a delightful place. The rooms are large and very clean and the people are very friendly. Francesca doesn't speak English, but we were still able to communicate. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again if we are ever back in Siena.
