Honey BBQ Chicken
Total preparation time: 2 hrs
Serves: 8Ingredients:
- 2 lb Boneless chicken breast tenders
- 8 oz BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Jalapeno pepper juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 oz Loiusiana style seasoning
Steps:
- On a BBQ grille, heat grid to a low heat and lightly oil grid. (The low heat will keep the breasts from drying out and allow the sauce to bake in slowly. Depending on type of grille heat can be adjusted, but not too high)
- Wash chicken in cold water, drain and place on grille grid. Season with Louisiana seasoning. Turn breasts and season other side.
- After cooking each side for 1 minute, flip and baste each side with sauce. Continue to flip and baste each side every 2 minutes until each side is basted 3 times. Breasts should cook totally through within 15 to 20 minutes.
- Keep extra sauce for dipping. A good ranch dressing is also recommended for dipping.
- These are great for a party. Also go well with baked beans, a good tossed salad, and a nice lemonade/whiskey drink.
