General Information

Experience the full panorama of downtown Juneau and the Gastineau Channel from Aurora View Inn, situated high on Mt Troy on Douglas Island, directly across from Juneau. Just four minutes from downtown, the view is so picturesque that many tour companies include our neighborhood on their scenic tour stops. From our luxurious hot tub in the gazebo watch the bald eagles soar overhead and see the cruise ships steam up the Channel to the Juneau docks. Immediately behind our Inn the 35,000 acre Tongass National Forest offers cameo appearances of porcupines, deer, hummingbirds and even the occasional glimpse of a black bear. The two luxury rooms have their own entrance and we give our guests the ultimate in privacy. A four person sauna room is available for that extra pampering that you deserve. Continental breakfasts at your convenience set the casual and relaxing tone of your stay. Welcome to the paradise that is Juneau, Alaska.
