Maple Dijon Vinaigrette
Total preparation time: 10 minutesIngredients:
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup cidar vinegar
- 1/3 cup Vermont maple syrup
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed (ground) sage
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Steps:
- Whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl. Place in a large jar and let sit for at least 2 hours. Shake well before using.
- It will keep indefinitely if refrigerated, but should be brought to room temperature before using. This may also be used for a marinade for game.
