General Information

A beautiful Victorian home provides romantic getaways and welcomes business travelers in a quiet retreat, with easy access to New York City and local antique shops and theater. A library with wood burning fireplace, sherry and freshly bakes treats, as well as computer access, draws guests together in the evening, while our parlor with gas fireplace is the perfect place to read the morning paper after a three course gourmet breakfast. Etched glass and stained glass windows, a winding staircase open to the third floor, and multiple bay windows add elegant touches. In warm weather, the gardens come alive with color and the scent of roses.

    Breakfast begins with hot coffee and lemon poppy seed muffins. Our fruit course is grilled fresh pineapple with cinnamon - a treat to savor for both scent and taste. This is followed by thick English muffins, baked ham slices, steamed white and green asparagus, and eggs poached the old fashioned way, in swirls of simmering water. The final special touch is a rich and creamy hollandaise sauce, whipped by hand and generously spooned over all.
