General InformationLocated on the second floor above our antique shop with private entrance are our four distinct rooms all beautifully decorated with antique armoires, marble top dressers, grandfather clocks, and oak beds. All rooms also have private full baths and air conditioning.
Built in 1833 our historic inn was originally a stage coach stop for people making their way to Bangor. Our location makes us convenient for day trips to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, Belfast, the coast and many other area destinations. A full continental breakfast is served every morning.

- Deposit amount required (A credit card number must be given to hold reservation.)
- Check in time is 2:00 p.m. and Check out time is 11:00 a.m.
- Cancellations:
A one night fee will be charged if cancellation is made less then 7 days prior to arrival with the exception of Labor Day weekend, Columbus Day weekend, and Veterans Day (Rememberance Day) weekend. Northbound I-95 - Take Exit 174. Make a right off of exit and follow Rt. 69 East for 11 miles to Route 1A. Make left on Route 1A. We are 1/4 mile on the right.
Southbound I-95: Take Exit 182A -Rt. 395 East, Bangor/Brewer. Take Exit 2, Rt. 202 - Hampden. When this road ends (at second light), make a left and at next light a right. This will put you onto Rt. 1A South. We are 7.9 miles on the left.
From Coastal Rt. 1: In the town of Stockton Springs, make a left onto Rt. 1A. We are 11 miles on the right. - Nearest major airport: BGR 16 miles
- Directions from airport:
From Bangor International Airport go straight out of airport onto Godfrey Boulvard and then a right at the first light onto Maine Avenue. Maine Avenue will become US-2/ME-100 Odlin Road. Turn left onto I-395 East. Take Exit 2 onto US-202 West toward Hampden. At second stop light turn left onto Western Avenue (you will have to turn left or right here.) At next light turn right onto Route 1A South. Go approximately 8 miles and our inn will be on the left.
