Wine Tastings: Would you like a personal wine tasting for you and your friends? The Beechwood Innkeepers can set up beginer, intermediate or wine tastings for experienced winetasters. Just let us know what your interests are and we will exceed your expectations. Costs for special wine tastings start at $15.00 per person.

The goal of the Beechwood Inn’s Wine Program is to offer the most exciting wine experience to each guest, whether they are beginners or dedicated wine connoisseurs in search of the perfect wine. Our philosophy focuses on the hedonism of wine as opposed to its snobbery or point value; if you like it and it compliments the food - then appreciate and enjoy it. We pride ourselves on guiding guests through the Inn’s large wine inventory, including an extensive wine library, to select a bottle that is perfect for their meal.

November 22 – Traditional Southern-Style Thanksgiving
Want a traditional Southern Thanksgiving Dinner but want someone else to do all the cooking and washing of dishes. Well come to the Beechwood Inn. We’ll have a cozy fire on the hearth and offer some sparkling wine and hors d’oevers. Then, sit back and loosen your belt as we will offer a family-style gourmet turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Best of all, we’ll do all the clean up and you can relax. There is a two day minimum stay. Thanksgiving dinner is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Lodging ranges from $189.00 to $209.00 per night.

The Beechwood Inn is an Eco-Friendly Inn and its owners have implemented a number of environmental practices designed to preserve and protect the unique historical and sensitive nature of the property and the region. In furtherance of this, the Inn is offering a special reward to environmentally thoughtful guests.
Help reduce pollution. Drive a hybrid vehicle to the Beechwood Inn and stay for at least two nights and we will discount your lodging by $25.00. And to help celebrate April 22 - Earth Day, if you drive a hybrid vehicle to the Inn and stay either April 21 & 22 or 22 & 23, 2008, we will double the offer and take $50.00 off the total lodging bill. And because we think this is such a responsible offer we will make it valid through September 30, 2008.

B&B Cooking Schools

Recreational Cooking Classes:
Join Beechwood Inn chefs in our modern kitchen and prepare a variety of gourmet meals including ethnic dishes from around the world. Learn to:
* Choose & prepare seasonal fresh and local ingredients
* Use a variety of cooking methods and techniques
* Present your dishes with style and visual appeal
* Find sources for natural, organic and local products
* Use proper food safety and handling
* Pair fine and rare wines to your dining selections
The Beechwood Inn has many awards and is a Wine Spectator Award of excellence restaurant. The Inn also features a 3,000 bottle wine cellar. Each class includes wine, a serving of each dish, a chef’s hat to keep and a complete recipe collection from that class. Students receive a 10% discount on wine or food product purchases made the day of the class and a 10% discount off their next culinary class at the Beechwood Inn.
Classes are approximately 5 hours long and usually run from 3:00PM to 8:00pm and are $125.00 per person, plus tax. Each class is themed and you will participate in preparing a 4-5 course dinner based on that them.
Family Reunions

Rent the Entire Inn - All 7 Guest Rooms and the Blueberry Cottage - Have the Beechwood all to yourself! Family reunions, small weddings, group retreats. We can comfortably accommodate 16-17 people for sleeping, up to 25 for barbeques, picnics and wine tastings. The Sjostrom family recently gathered here to enjoy one another and experience the wild rivers of North Georgia. All survived rafting the Ocoee and swapped stories and tall tales on the Beechwood porch into the late evening. Reconnect with your loved ones over a long weekend at the Beechwood!

Personal Chef: Would you like a private dinner for two? The Beechwood Inn is a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Restaurant and we can offer a private dining experience for you and your sweetheart or for a small group of your friends.
Private dining for two starts at $300.00 (necessitated by the cost of opening wine for two), and the per person price goes down for larger groups.
