Inn Details
Centrally located, yet a world apart, Devonfield is set on a 32 acre pastoral meadow shaded by graceful birch trees, with the rolling tapestry of the Berkshire Hills beyond. This 209 year old historic estate has been graciously updated and is filled with fine antiques. It is sophisticated, yet comfortable and inviting. Devonfield's upscale suites and bedrooms are all beautifully appointed, spacious and offer modern private baths. For your comfort, the Inn is completely air conditioned and provides wireless internet. The guest pantry is always open and is stocked with treats. There is a refrigerator and a microwave as well. A fireside (fall and winter) candlelit gourmet breakfast is served on fine china accompanied by classical music. Breakfast includes a bountiful buffet followed by a specially selected hot entree served tableside each day. Follow breakfast with a stroll through the flower-filled gardens, play a round of tennis or golf, or take a dip in the heated pool, and then enjoy the best in cultural and recreational activities in all seasons. Or, just relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, snooze in a hammock (or by a roaring fire), have afternoon refreshments or a complimentary cordial in the living room. Whatever you choose, you’ll find warm hospitality, relaxation, and rejuvenation to be the hallmark of your stay in this romantic country home.

Deposit amount required: A full deposit is required for one-night stays. A 50% deposit is required for two nights or longer stays.

Cancellations: Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation leaves little chance of filling the reserved space. For this reason, the Inn maintains a strict cancellation policy. Deposits will be refunded only if notice is received by our office no less than 14 days (30 days in July and August) prior to the intended date of arrival. A service charge of $50.00 per room will be deducted from the deposit. Guests who check out before the last day of the reservation will be required to pay for the days reserved in full. We realize that situations may arise necessitating cancellation within the 14 day limit (30 days in July and August), and do sympathize, however we must maintain our business policy due to limited season and high accommodation demands. A partial refund may be possible only if we are able to re-book the room(s). We must have a deposit on all rooms in order to guarantee the reservation.

What a fabulous place! Warm and friendly. Delicious breakfast both mornings. Our stay in the Roosevelt suite with jacuzzi and fireplace was way beyond our expectations. I think I need to spend my birthday here every year!

We got very lucky in planning a last-minute get-away before the holiday craziness began. This inn is absolutely gorgeous! The atmosphere was welcoming and the innkeeper and his staff very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the entire visit including watching the birds and squirrels from our table in the dining room over breakfast -- it is sometimes the simple things which we respond most to!

We were looking for a place for a short, pre-Thanksgiving getaway. Devonfield Inn was recommended by friends; it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Bruce and Ronnie were excellent hosts and made our stay most enjoyable.
