Dear Tracy and Ted, It was part of our honeymoon touring trip at Ucluelet as we had traveled firstly from Calgary, then to Roger's Pass and Chilliwack and were on the way to Vancouver Island, when we decide to visit Ucluelet for a chinook salmon fishing expedition. There were many recommendations that we stayed at the Wickinnish resort, but an afterthought and browsing through the internet finally landed us to Majestic Ocean B&B. We had absolutely no clue how majestic would Majestic Ocean B&B be as we've never been there before nor we were recommended. We were given a tour of the place that we were to stay and the views that we could enjoy. We were very taken in by the room that we had gotten, the common hot tub, the common dining/internet/kitchen/hall/flat screen TV area. It's truly a rustic, comfortable, clean and peaceful stay that we immensely enjoyed staying in. We spent 2 nights and had used the soothing hot tub during the first night. On our second night, we watched a video tape and enjoyed having hot chocolate, tea and snacked on homemade cookies, all fully provided for the comfort of our stay. We truly felt so at home at a homey, comfy, clean and warm inn. We will definitely return to stay with Majestic Ocean B&B when we visit Ucluelet again. For sure on our next trip, we shall take on your kayaking expedition since it has received such high reviews. Thank you for your excellent service. Your recommendation that we have our dinner at the Offshore Seafood Restaurant nearby was indeed an excellent recommendation. We enjoyed our delicious and hot seafood meals so much - finger licking good! Your homemade cookies are so delicious and thanks for the ones we got after we'd checked out. Both of you deserve high praises for running an excellent B&B place. Both my husband and me give you both our loud applauds and thanks. Blessings to both of you, Rod & Cindy Magarrell Calgary, Canada / Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
5 out of 5Lovely Experience: Majestic Ocean B&B
April 05, 2009
My husband and I spent three lovely days at Majestic Ocean B & B. The setting was beautiful-quiet and private on the water. We brought our own kayaks, and the location was perfect for putting in right in front of our room. Not only were the owners helpful with suggestions, but also generously loaned us one of their double kayaks so we could try it out. We were thrilled by seeing so many eagles and sea lions up close. We were glad to be in Ucluelet rather than the busier Tofino for the beautiful hiking trails and Interpretive Center. Tofino was easy enough to get to when we wanted another setting. Our room was tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We had three outstanding (and filling) breakfasts including delicious omelets, blueberry pancakes, fresh fruit, granola and yoghurt. Tracy and Ted respected our privacy, but were more than willing to help with information and suggestions. We would highly recommend Majestic Ocean B & B.
