Blue Ribbon Stuffed Mushrooms
Serves: 12Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese MIX A
- 1/4 can Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons minced onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 10 fresh diced mushroom stems
- 1 tablespoon Madeira or Port wine
- 3 tablespoons fine white bread crumbs MIX B
- 4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
- salt & pepper, to taste
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Wash and brush 35 fresh mushrooms with melted butter. Salt mushrooms lightly.
- Stuff mushrooms with mixture A; then sprinkle with mixture B. Bake until tender for approximately 15-20 minutes.
- This recipe won me a blue ribbon in a county cook off!
