We stayed at the Port City Inn this weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. Our room was the Captain's Quarters and I absolutely loved it. My boyfriend surprised me with the room and walking in and seeing a big jacuzzi and fireplace next to the big, inviting bed was more than I ever could have imagined. If you are visiting Muskegon or even just looking to escape, skip the generic hotel and indulge yourself in one of Fred and Barb's rooms at the Port City Victorian Inn. They have the perfect touch of historic rooms with all of the modern day amenities. Plus their hospitable personalities and easy-going nature made for a perfect stay. Breakfast was delicious and served over a homestyle atmosphere with the other guests. I highly recommend staying here. There was nothing I would have changed except maybe staying longer :) Thanks for your getaway, Fred & Barb! -Holly and Sean

The rooms were fantastic, and outstandingly clean! Wonderful, friendly host and hostess. Breakfasts were delicious. Barbara and Fred were a wealth of information for sightseeing ideas and dinner suggestions. Hugs to Oscar and Sampson (the Yorkies) ...they were very well behaved and fun to have around. We really enjoyed celebrating our 10 year anniversary at Port City Victorian Inn. We loved our room, our bed and our jacuzzi. The food was delicious and different. The only reason I rated Cleanliness with 2 stars was because I there were quite a few cobwebs and spider strings throughout the home. It was nothing "gross" or "disgusting". My husband didn't even notice, but I did. We would definitely visit again and thoroughly enjoyed Barb & Fred.
