General Information

The Spruce Moose Lodge and Cottages, located in a quiet neighborhood in the quaint village of North Conway, New Hampshire. It has been operating as a year 'round haven for White Mountains travelers almost since its granite foundation was laid more than 150 years ago.

Our staff is always ready to help you find your way around town, recommend a restaurant or a wonderful shop to poke around in.
Enjoy the sunshine on our front porch and meet guests from all over the world.
Visit us to find out why so many of our guests consider us their place to stay in New Hampshire.

For history buffs, Mt. Washington Valley natives recount tales of the main building serving as a 19th century boarding house, and recall that the adjacent cottages once served as bunkhouses for a summer camp for the Princes of New England. Old-timers tell stories of old-time movie stars (Bette Davis, Babe Ruth) enjoying the grounds on a sunny summer afternoon, or a brisk, fall evening, or a snowy winter's evening.
