Macadamia Nut Cornbread
Total preparation time: 15 min.
Serves: 8Ingredients:
- 3 Eggs
- 2 cups White or Yellow Cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Macadamia Nut Oil
- 1/2 cup Macadamia Nut 'Fines'
- 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Sugar (optional)
Steps:
- Combine eggs, oil and milk.
- In separate bowl combine dry ingredients.
- Stir in wet ingredients and combine just until moist; let stand 5 minutes. Do not over mix!
- Cook in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until firm in center and golden brown. Excellent served warm.
