General Information

This historic house was built by J. Bancroft Swayne, the pioneer of Kennett Square's mushroom industry. There are hardwood floors throughout, Tuscan columns, period furniture, lead glass windows, wrap-around porch, and two sun porches. Guests may choose from a suite with king size bed and day bed, a room with queen size bed (twin bed available upon request), and a third room with a full size bed and queen size Murphy bed on its own sun room; all rooms have private bathrooms, cable TV, air conditioning, and wireless internet. Walk into town. Stay at this quiet location near all Brandywine Valley attractions.
