General Information

A stay in our houseboat is an unforgettable experience.
The Lucky Piper lies along the Zeeburgerpad, right near to the Funen windmill where microbrewery ‘het Ij’ is located in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood. The brewery has a tasting room, open for beer sampling from Wednesday to Sunday.

The houseboat lies on the edge of downtown Amsterdam. It is easily accessible by car or by public transit. Buses and trams run every ten minutes and the nearest stop is just a three minute walk from the Lucky Piper.
The houseboat has a 5 x 5 m. deck streets-side, and a 9 x 3 m. deck on the water, a roof-top terrace is coming up. You can therefore choose for sun or shadow all day long. The houseboat dimensions are 16,5 x 4,5 m. There is one large bedroom with two beds, and one smaller bedroom with two beds. Two children’s beds can also be added to the large bedroom. There is a bathroom with a shower and sink and a room for the toilet. The boat has been designed to allow plenty of daylight to filter into every room. The living room and kitchen are combined. There is plenty of daylight. Both bedrooms and the living room each have television with 32 channels. The living room is also equipped with a full stereo (radio, DVD, CD). check for availability on our website.
