Nestled by a 67 ft. waterfall in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, The Inn, built in 1848, offers 6 accommodations refurbished with a green heating and cooling system, comfort, beauty, history, solitude or sociability; adventure or leisure; a connection with nature, and full candlelight breakfasts. There are ironed sheets, authentic antiques, private baths. The parkland boasts 45 points of interest; many trails; a scenic reilroad; Visitors Centers; a covered bridge and more. Nearby are scores of good restaurants and attractions. Innkeepers Katie and George Hoy have honed their skills over 20 years and have authored two books: INN GOOD TASTE and INN JOY MENT, with more than 6500 sold.

    Anna Hale's Garret Suite in the main house has 2 double four-poster beds and 2 single beds in the sitting room. The Carriage Barn suites have king-sized beds on a loft and a double futon in the sitting rooms downstairs, a small refrigerator and microwave, TV and DVD player, table and chairs in a glass enclosure that looks into the woods.

    Organic Scotch Stone Ground Oats and Oat Bran are cooked in milk with fresh fruit (fruit changes each day)and served in a silver chafing dish on the Dining Room sideboard with a choice of toppings of brown sugar, yogurt, milk and home-made granola. Accompanying this is a bowl of fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and bread baked by Innkeeper George. Following is an entree often including eggs less than a day old from our flock of hens.

  • Smoking is allowed in limited areas (Smoking permitted on grounds in accordance with Ohio law)
  • Guest pets are welcome (No pets Innside. Kennels in Barn with approval)
  • Limitations on children staying (Any age in Carriage Barn; 6 yrs.and over in Main Inn)
  • No childcare is provided
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted (From 4:30 to 5:30PM we offer a glass of wine or juice)
  • Deposit amount required (We hold reservations with credit card, or check or cash for 50%. We charge the full amount at time of stay, minus anything paid.)
  • Check in time is 4:00PM or after and Check out time is 11:00 AM
  • Cancellations:
    If someone cancels less than 2 weeks prior to their reservation date, and we have turned people away and the room does not re-book, they are responsible for 65% of the base rate, unless they have purchased cancellation insurance at the time of reserving. The insurance permits cancellation up to noon of the day prior to their reservation.
