General InformationThe Peter Herdic Inn is a beautiful Victorian inn located on Williamsport,Pa.'s historic Millionaires Row, within walking distance to downtown and historical museums. Next door is its sister property, the acclaimed Herdic House, a gourmet restaurant and bar. Local hosts, Gloria and Marcia Miele and their husbands, Jim Wood and Bob Elion, offer warmth and hospitality with gracious accommodations as well as fine dining.The spacious guest rooms are tastefully appointed with antiques and period pieces. All have private baths.Some of the inn's features include original silver and brass chandeliers, exceptional red oak woodwork, stained glass windows, and a lovely shaded porch.

Gloria is a Penn State grad. She sets the table and plants flowers.Jim is an MIT grad.He cooks great breakfasts on the weekend.Marcia is a Brown grad. She cooks and makes menus. She and Gloria run the restaurant. Bob is a lawyer who graduated from the University of Iowa. His real love is stonework.We like cooking, biking, winetasting,historic preservation,architecture, crosscountry skiing, traveling- especially to Italy, organic gardening, and hospitality. - The innkeepers speak: A little Italian, Some French, English
