General Information

The Retreat sits high on a hillside above the Mt. Crested Butte base area ski village, only 300 yards from the ski runs. The entire Retreat is 11,000 sq. ft including 9 guests rooms, a spa facility, a fitness room, 5 hot tubs, state of the art audio/visual equipment, and two saunas. All rooms are ringed with large windows providing panoramic views of the surrounding aspen and evergreen covered mountains and valleys. The structure has been designed with a blend of traditional and modern Colorado architecture and building materials including hickory and maple floors, soapstone stoves and slate and travertine bathrooms. The large open spaces contain soaring, cathedral open-beam ceilings and ensure an ample variety of comfortable vignettes for guests to relax. The Retreat is decorated with photography and art from around the world and a variety of new and antique furniture, giving an international flare to this beautiful mountain structure.
