  Huntsman's Chase Cottage: Just completed renovation in December! Spacious 77+ year old cottage, freshly and beautifully renovated with 2 Bedrooms, large Master Bath w/Jacuzzi & double walk-in shower. Also features: hardwood floors, wood burning fireplace, private deck and fully equipped eat-in kitchen (though breakfast can still be enjoyed at the main house).   This is a wonderful dish made with all fresh ingredients.
  Fresh eggs, milk, 5 different cheeses, vegetables such as zucchini,brocoli,sweet red pepper,scallions, spices, and presented with fresh herbs. Usually served with gourmet thick sliced bacon, fresh fruit with fresh whipped cream and a sprig of mint, and homemade blueberry muffins or scones. Coffee is freshly ground Premium Organic Coffee. Orange juice is freshly squeezed in season.
  
  Or we serve other meals such as: Blackberry Breakfast Pudding w/warmed Maple Syrup and sausages, Amaretto French Toast w/ fresh fruit, Organic Blueberry Pancakes with thick sliced bacon. All breakfasts come with fresh fruit, fresh baked muffins or breads, entree, bacon or sausage if desired, juice, coffee and filtered water.

• Minimum stay required (Only during Equestrian events in April, October, Derby)
• Smoking is allowed outside only (Please no smoking inside but grounds are extensive)
• Limited accommodations for guest pets (Love dogs but very few exceptions, except cottage)
• Limitations on children staying (Special circumstances will be considered. Cottage: all ages.)
• No childcare is provided (We can have onsite babysitting if reserved ahead of time.)
• Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Complimentary glass of wine)
• Deposit amount required (Discounts do not apply for weddings and whole house rentals. Deposit is required for weddings and for whole house rentals. Accounts do not apply during April, October, and for Derby weekend.)
• Closed: 2008 Season; closed December 23
• Check in time is 4:00 and Check out time is 12:00
• Cancellations:
  Please call or email a cancellation 7 days prior to reservation for regular reservation. Because we are a small inn, if a cancellation is not made prior to 7 days, we have no choice but to charge you for the reserved suite or cottage. For whole house rental for Derby or special event, [weddings excluded as deposit is nonrefundable]any cancellations must be made 30 days prior to event to order to have desposit refunded.

  From Lexington: Take Versailles Road into Versailles. Take a left on Main Street. Take the next right onto Rose Hill. Go 0.3 mile up the hill; turn right at the stone pillars with the Storybook Inn signs. We are the large white Colonial that sits back from the street. From Louisville: Take I-64 East to the Frankfort exit and turn right onto Highway 60. Take the scenic route past magnificent horse farms into the town of Versailles. When you approach the town, veer to the right into the town. You are on Frankfort St. which becomes Main. Go through 4 stop lights to Rose Hill and take a right. Just up the hill 0.3 miles: turn right at the stone pillars with the Storybook Inn signs. From Cincinnati: Take I-75 South to exit 115 onto Newtown Pike. Take a right on Newtown and go 1.8 miles to W New Circle Rd/KY-4/W-US60. Take W New Circle Road 4.5 miles to the first Versailles Road exit. You will be heading West [right] toward Versailles. Go 9.3 miles to Versailles to Main Street. Turn left at Main and take first right onto Rose Hill. Just up the hill 0.3 miles; turn right at the stone pillars with the Storybook Inn Signs.

  From Bluegrass Field, turn left onto Hwy 60. Stay on 60 into Versailles. Turn left at Main Street. Take first right onto Rose Hill. Go .3 mile up the hill to stone pillars on the right. Pillars are narrow entry, originally for carriages.Enter with care with large vehicles.

  I love people. I love pampering people, especially ones that need a reprieve from too much work or just a time away from it all. I have a background in nursing, nutrition, Real Estate, and hospitality. I am gifted in interior design, gardening, and love great conversation. Love to travel and to read. I enjoy creating in the kitchen signature dishes with fresh ingredients. My friends have all commented that all of those traits point to the fact that Innkeeping is the perfect venue for me.
