Savor the richness of past and present in this storied 1902 stone cutter's house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Four characteristic rooms furnished in late-1800s French antiques, each with a private bath, one a two-room suite with gas-log stove. All with sumptuous breakfast. Perfectly located for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, craters, canyons and ancient ruins.

    A delightfully seasoned egg souffle made with ham and cheese or, for our vegetarian guests, fresh seasonal vegetables. The day starts with freshly ground and brewed coffee and an assortment of juices. (Teas and hot chocolate are available anytime as are freshly baked cookies, muffins or bread.) Breakfast starts with fresh fruit soup, followed by whole-grain and apple-cinnamon-swirl breads and usually ends in good conversation.

From the Grand Canyon, take 180 south into Flagstaff, then turn south (right) on Humphreys Street. At Route 66 turn west (right) and immediately veer right onto Santa Fe Avenue.
