The Inn is less than 10 minutes away from some of the most beautiful lakes in the country and only 35 minutes from Ski Killington or Ski Pico. In addition, it is only a 5 minute drive to Green Mountain College in Poultney, 10 minutes to Castleton State College, and 15 minutes to the town of Rutland. Lake George and Lake Champlain are a scenic thirty-five and forty-five minute drive away. Whether you are visiting to ski, swim, fish, golf, hike, bike, antique, or sightsee, this New England bed and breakfast can serve as the base camp for your getaway. Turn left on Route 4, proceed to Vermont, at Exit 2 turn right onto Rte. 22A. Continue 2 miles through town of Fair Haven. Go down the hill bear left on 22A South. Proceed 1 mile; Maplewood Inn is on your left. From Southern VT, Mass. and Conn.: Take Rte. 7 North to Rutland. Exit at Rte. 4 West, at Exit 3. Turn left, then proceed through Fair Haven as above. From Eastern VT, NH and E. Mass.: Take Interstate 91 to Interstate 89. Exit at Rte. 4 Woodstock. Proceed on Rte. 4 through Woodstock and Rutland to Exit 3. At Exit 3, turn left, & then proceed through Fair Haven as above.
