Casa de la Paz (circa 1915) – An award-winning Inn overlooking the sparkling bayfront, the famous Bridge of Lions and parade of romantic horse & carriages on the Avenida Menendez. The beautiful ‘House of Peace’ has 7 rooms, distinctively appointed with furnishings reminiscent of early 1900’s Florida. The Spanish-style garden courtyard with sounds of a waterfall coupled with gentle ocean breezes will bring a feeling of contentment and belonging. Breakfast in the formal dining room or in the sunroom is a culinary treat. Southern Living Magazine calls Casa de la Paz “One of our special favorites” and U.S. Air awards it “One of Florida’s 10 Best”.

  Reservation cancellations (including partial cancellations) must be made 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date and there is a $25 cancellation fee per room. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will result in the loss of the deposit.

Turn right at next signal, King Street, to enter downtown. When the road becomes one way, get into left lane and turn left onto Charlotte Street, just before the traffic light. Go through the stop sign. Road becomes one way. Our parking lot is about two blocks on the right, just past the Casablanca Inn and just before the stop sign at Hypolita Street. FROM THE NORTH: Exit I-95 at SR16 (exit 318). Go east into St. Augustine about 5 or 6 miles, cross over US-1. SR16 will dead end at San Marco Avenue at a stop sign. Turn right onto San Marco. After 1.5 miles you will pass the fort on your left. Proceed another two blocks to traffic light at the foot of the bridge. Turn right at light onto Cathedral Place and IMMEDIATELY turn right onto Charlotte Street. Our parking lot is about two blocks on the right, just past the Casablanca Inn and just before the stop sign at Hypolita Street.
