Fruit Compote Extraordinaire
Total preparation time: 15 minutesIngredients:
- Dried fruits, primarily prunes and apricots
Steps:
- Place dried plums(formerly known as prunes), and any other dried fruit you like such as apples, peaches or cranberries in saucepan with just enough water to cover. Add 5 cloves and cinnamon stick if you like.
- Simmer until soft but not falling apart. If you have time, no need even to cook - just set aside for 12 hours.
- Serve with whole-milk yoghurt, unflavored, or whipped cream if you can.
- Voila! Your marvelous, healthy offering is done.
- Keeps for days.
