The 2009 season of Bright Nights fills Forest Park with more than 600,000 light bulbs of every color imaginable in 376-plus display pieces that will come to life in New England’s largest holiday lighting display, with a sparkling new display alongside longtime favorites such as Seuss Land, Jurassic World and Garden of Peace. Consult the Bright Nights website at www.brightnights.org for details including Bright Nights’ latest addition - Santa’s Magical Forest illuminated with brightly colored trees, and elves serenading visitors on the way to Santa’s Cottage where the jolly ol’ elf will spend his nights until Christmas Eve welcoming all good little boys and girls.Also inside the cottage can be found souvenirs, holiday gifts, treats and other Bright Nights mementos. Tune your radio to 98.5 FM for Bright Night’s own festival of music to enhance your visit. There are also horse-drawn wagon and carriage rides.
