Baked Apple French Toast

Serves: 6Ingredients:
- 4 Apples, peeled and sliced
- 9 slices White bread
- 7 Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- Stick Butter
- 1 cup Sugar, brown
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 3 tablespoons Cinnamon-sugar
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar, and pour into a 9 inch pie plate
- Peel and slice the apples, and toss over butter/sugar mix
- Remove crusts from bread and cut each slice into 2 triangles, and lay them in overlapping layers over the apples
- Beat eggs, milk, baking powder and vanilla essence, and por over bread, pressing the bread into the egg mixture
- Cover with cinnamon-sugar mix. Bake at 450 degrees for approximately 30 minutes
