General Information The Ruby of Crested Butte is a perfect getaway from hectic everyday life. Secluded at the end of the beautiful Gunnison Valley in the charming town of Crested Butte, The Ruby is a true paradise destination. The location of our bed and breakfast provides guests with the unique opportunity to be in town, near adorable boutiques and fine eateries, and also right across the street from the free shuttle ride to the lifts. And for all our mountain biker and hiker guests, from our doorstep to the nearest trail is only a block! Each guestroom comes complete with a comfy queen-sized bed overflowing with chic bed linens, a private bath, our prized antique furnishings, a TV and DVD player with access to our extensive DVD library, free local and long distance telephone service with personal voicemail, a ceiling fan, radiant in-floor heating to keep you warm on those frosty winter nights, and cozy robes for your use to lounge around the room, while visiting our indoor hot tub, and during our in-house spa treatments.

- Cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to scheduled check-in date will be refunded their room deposit less an administrative fee of 5% of the reservation amount. When notice of cancellation is provided within 30 days of the scheduled check-in date, the deposit will be refunded when we are able to re-book the guest room(s), at which time your deposit will be refunded less the 5% administrative fee. When notice of cancellation is provided within 3 days of your scheduled check-in date, the guest is responsible for entire reservation amount and will be refunded when we are able to re-book the guest room(s) less the 5% administrative fee. The cost of lift tickets, spa treatments, or any other purchases that have already been paid for by The Ruby of Crested Butte for a cancelled reservation are subject to the return policy of the service provider. The term "Cancellation" includes partial and complete cancellations and "no show" cancellations where no notice is provided. Please contact us if you would like more information on this policy.

Once in Crested Butte on highway 135, turn right at the third stop sign (Gothic Avenue). We are the ruby red house on the right - 624 Gothic Avenue.
Located near the center of the state, Crested Butte is actually pretty easy to get to no matter where you’re coming from. Drive time from Denver is a little over 4 hours, and under 4 hours from Colorado Springs.
From Denver:
From the I-70/I-25 interchange, take interstate 70 west, exit to highway 470 west, highway 285 south to Fairplay then Poncha Springs, highway 50 west to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.
From Colorado Springs:
Take highway 24 west to highway 285, highway 285 south to Poncha Springs, highway 50 west to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.
From Montrose:
Take highway 50 east to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.
From Texas And Oklahoma:
Take interstate 25 north through Trinidad to Walsenburg, highway 160 west to Alamosa, highway 285 north to Saguache, highway 114 north to highway 50, highway 50 west to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.
From Arizona – Phoenix:
Take interstate 17 to Flagstaff, north on highway 89, highway 160 to Cortez, north on highway 145, highway 62 to Ridgway, highway 550 north to Montrose, highway 50 east to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.
From California And Southern Nevada – Los Angeles – Las Vegas:
Take interstate 15 to Las Vegas, interstate 70 to Grand Junction, highway 50 east to Montrose and on to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte. - Nearest major airport: DEN 30 miles

There are non-stop flights directly to Gunnison (GUC), which is a 28 miles from Crested Butte, from Denver (DEN), Atlanta (ATL), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), and Houston (IAH). Ground transportation to and from the airport is available through Alpine Express (.alpineexpressshuttle).
