The Morris House Hotel was built in 1787. This National historical landmark has been recently restored to its original splendor. This three-story boutique hotel features classic Colonial elegance enhanced with modern amenities. The Morris House provides an exquisite, intimate setting for weddings and retreats, as well as for overnight, weekly or extended stays. Fifteen cozy guest rooms and extended suites offer all the comforts of home in an understated elegance. Each of the rooms is equipped with a private luxury bath, air-conditioning, in-room cable entertainment and internet WIFI. Morris House is located in center city Philadelphia near 8th and Walnut Street.

    We are proud to report that the building north of the grand garden and the carriage house next to the main house has been renovated to include our new extended suites. Each of these units includes a master bedroom, private bathroom (with a tall shower and a Jacuzzi bath tub), living room, and kitchen. There is a pull out couch in all the units that can accommodate another guest as well. These new additions are designed for our guests who would like to feel more at home. The option of a kitchen offers them the choice of preparing a meal on their own in their room.
