General Information

Staying at Jaye's Cottage B&B gives you the opportunity to rest yourself in a private, cozy cottage in Oakland's beautiful Lake Merritt district. This is a great location; a walk to the Lake is just 10 minutes, and to the shopping district just 5. It's only a two-block walk to catch a bus with non-stop service to San Francisco. The main floor of the cottage has a kitchenette, a bathroom (shower, no tub), a livingroom with a couch-bed, and patio doors to let in lots of light. The upstairs has a bedroom with skylights and windows that look out on a garden and lawn. We welcome you to choose a totally independent experience, or one that includes meeting and getting to know our family. Mom is a well-traveled ESL teacher who loves meeting travelers and giving insider tourist tips. We offer a discount for seniors, students, and international travelers.
