My wife and I are medical students in New Orleans and stayed at Sonoma Orchid Inn last June for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were peaceful, and a great hopping off point to see the Russian River Valley. Our favorite parts: -great breakfast -innkeepers are great guides to local eateries and vineyards. They seemed genuinely interested in talking about the food and wine, and took the time to make sure my wife and I were going to places which would give us a great experience. If this is your first time in the area, I especially would recommend staying here.

great hosts. We returned to this B&B because we had such a great experience the last time we were in the area. On arrival, Brian greeted us and was very helpful with the luggage. He gave us an upgrade to our room which we really appreciated. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Dana also made us a dinner reservation to a great restaurant that we really enjoyed. The delicious breakfast included quiche, fresh fruit, muffins, sausage and coffee. There is lots to do in the area and would take days to explore all of the sights. The area has many wineries and beautiful areas for hiking and exploring. Brian recommended Corks for dinner and the food was terrific. We highly recommend this B&B and hope to return in the near future. Brian and Dana, thanks for another great stay in your B&B. Eileen and Mike Beard

My husband and I chose Sonoma Orchid Inn for our first bed and breakfast experience, and lets just say Brian and Dana set the bar high. We found Sonoma Orchid Inn on the internet, with no personal recommendation. We were impressed with the website and we were never disappointed for the duration of our stay. There is no false advertising going on here! Brian and Dana are very good hosts, as they are friendly and full of ideas on how to plan your day during your stay. We stayed in the spruce room and were very pleased. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were fantastic! Each morning we were more than satisfied with the breakfast served. We even left with a recipe which Brian and Dana were more than happy to pass on. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast, and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

    No "whine" at this Inn!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at the Sonoma Orchid Inn and would most definitely return there. Dana and Brian make their home feel like you are in your own home and they both are exceptional innkeepers. Their suggestions as to wineries to visit and places to dine were perfect choices for us and they are very knowledgeable about the Sonoma area. More importantly, they were always patient with our (my!) questions and never made us feel like we were bothering them or that they were too busy to talk to us. Dana's breakfasts are fabulous and we always looked forward to what was on that morning's breakfast menu. The living room shared by guests is charming, comfortable and filled with light. We stayed in "Spruce" and were very happy with our choice. The room and adjoining bath were comfortable, clean and we liked it's proximity to the living and dining rooms. Dana and Brian and their wonderful Sonoma Orchid Inn are the reason we love staying at B&B's and they should be proud of the great job they are doing! We sure are grateful!
