General InformationForty Putney Road is a comfortable yet elegant French Provincial estate overlooking the West River and just a short stroll to downtown Brattleboro. The lawns and gardens are landscaped with beautiful specimen trees, including one of the largest Japanese Maples in the United States. Whether you are here on vacation or business you will feel relaxed and at home. Full 2 course gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the Conservatory or on the beautiful slate patio overlooking the gardens. Many rooms have fireplaces and all have private baths with beautiful original fixtures and tile work. Wireless high speed internet will help you stay connected - but only if you want to be!
