TACO PIE
Total preparation time: 1.5 hours
Serves: 8Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup Bisquick
- 3 Egg, whole
- 1 sliced tomato
- 8 slices sliced Monterey Jack Pepper Cheese
- 2 cups shreded lettuce
- 2 cups crushed Nacho chips
- 2 cups sour cream
Steps:
- Cook and drain beef (may substitute 1/2 beef and 1/2 sausage) and onion. Stir in beans and taco seasoning. Spread in greased 9x9 pan.
- Beat together milk, Bisquick and eggs. Pour over meat.
Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees.Remove from oven and top with tomato slices and cheese.
- Bake another 8-10 minutes until cheese melts.
- On plate layer lettuce,then crushed Nachos, then square of pie and top with spoonful of sour cream.
